Mowing & Fireworks Reminder

As WIA completes its first mowing of the season this week, we encourage everyone to mow their tall grasses/weeds, and to maintain them at a height of no more than 9” (per El Paso County ordinance). Due to potential fire danger, tall grasses/weeds can become highly flammable if we have high temperatures and/or wind over just a few days. As a friendly reminder, property owners are responsible for the mowing of their property up to the edge of the roadway. Please help us to keep Woodmoor a safe and beautiful place to live.

With Summer upon us, this is a gentle reminder that fireworks, open burning, and campfires are prohibited in Woodmoor. Fines for violations of this type start at $5,000.
