Town Hall Meeting on Prevention of a Wildfire Event in Northern El Paso County

Based on requests received from concerned Woodmoor residents after the catastrophic fire in Boulder County, Woodmoor is partnering with wildfire experts from Colorado State Forest Service, NEPCO (The Northern El Paso County Coalition of Community Organizations), Tri-Lakes Monument Fire Protection District, Tri-Lakes United Methodist Church Emergency Preparedness Group, and the Pikes Peak Regional Office of Emergency Management to talk about the vulnerability of area communities and address how we might prevent a similar tragedy in El Paso County.

Due to the anticipated participation of the event, it is being held at the Tri-Lakes United Methodist Church, 20256 Hunting Downs Way (in Kings Deer), Monument, CO at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.

The meeting can be attended in person or remotely by Zoom (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87694296350) and it will also be broadcast on Facebook Live (https://www.facebook.com/TLUMCEPG/live_videos/) (a Facebook account is not required).
